They are messages not in words, but in shapes and what I see.

Rebecca Snelling of Snelling Studio will show the first works from a new body of work titled View with Artor Contemporary at the Aotearoa Art Fair.

View explores ideas of levitation through observation of the horizon and the vertical points that interrupt it, whether built or natural. They punctuate this horizon, drawing the eye upward and establishing elevation and stillness. Form, silhouette, mirrored stainless steel, and the grain of hand-turned timber are sensitively assembled to examine and articulate these perceptions.

The first works include View Maud Keeper, View Oriel Candle Holder, and View Sedilia Table Lamp. Each is handcrafted and released as a signed and numbered edition.
