The Spire series grew from Bec’s observation of architectural forms that interrupt the skyline and draw the eye upward. The timber Gothic language of small New Zealand chapels, with their steeply pitched forms and visible construction, became a recurring reference in the View collection. This language is reduced into elongated geometry and a strong sense of structure. The pendants arrange wool diffusers around a central form, while the wall light condenses the same language, bringing the diffuser into focus. Walnut, polished metal and wool bring contrast, warmth and material depth.
